Thank you RideForCharlie for helping to make my trip to Bilbao possible. I have had a great time racing the cross duathlon at the ETU Multi sport championships where I came 6th in my category and 23rd out of 130 across the field. I have waited 2 years for the championships to go ahead after them being cancelled twice due to covid so it was great for it to finally go ahead. It was a very tough race with a steep 8k run first, followed by a 20k MTB route which consisted of long climbs and technical descents and then finally finishing on a 3k run. I had a lot of fun and gained experience that I can use in future races.

I had a great time in Denmark at the UCI MTB Marathon World Championships thanks to the support of Ride for Charlie.
Racing at this level has long been as ambition of mine and it exceeded all expectations…from the course practice with fellow team GBR riders in the days prior to lining up with world’s best from fifteen other nations on race day.
It was an honour to compete in memory of both Charlie and Rab Wardell. Their immense amount of passion and love for the sport provided extra motivation to leave it all out there between the race tape.

Val Di Sole was my first ever World Cup race. I had such a good time! I spent most of the week out there, learning the course and exploring the local area. The race itself was amazing – the crowds were crazy and the course was super tough. A lot taken away from the trip, so a massive thank you to Ride For Charlie for supporting the adventure!

Huge thanks to Ride For Charlie for supporting me to race in the last junior World Cup of the season in Basel, Switzerland. The race was fast and furious on an urban type course.
