“Mountain Bike Marathon worlds In Denmark  was a great experience and adventure. It was my first time in Denmark, first time racing for GB and my first time racing my MTB outside the uk . Once in Denmark I spent a couple of days riding the course, meeting the other GB riders along with making new friends from other nations. I also got a chance to do some exploring of the area around where it was held in Haderslev, a nice Town that offered a great atmosphere on race day. The Start/finish was at a small square in the town, that we passed through each lap before heading into the trails. The course was fast, but deceivingly hard when raced with no rest as constantly on the pedals, after starting on the back of the grid I was pleased with how I moved up throughout the race however the effort i had made i paid for this on the final lap, but it was an incredible experience to race with some of world’s best. After the race we spent some time with the other GB riders telling stories of our race before all going our separate ways.”
