Alderney races in Belgium
After trying to make the trip across to Europe a couple of times this season and having lots of disruptions in the process, I finally got a window of opportunity to get out to Belgium to do a couple of post National Champs races. Although I had a better than expected race in Falkirk, training was disrupted and the next few weeks was quite far from ideal with 2 races left.
I got to the start line with the aim of having some fun, learning and with no intention of putting any pressure on myself. I had two of my worst starts this season but learnt so much through both of the races and it was a bonus having Hope on the start line with me after a great battle with her in the trophy series! I learnt so much in one weekend and have given myself a good benchmark to work from for next season.
I want to say a massive thank you to Ride for Charlie for their patience and support this season, this trip certainly wouldn’t be possible without them!
