“I was lucky enough to be selected to ride for GB in the UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Fayetteville, USA. The whole trip was a great experience with it being my first time in the US and the biggest race of the season. The race itself went really well after getting off to a great start and spending the first lap in 2nd place. I then spent the rest of the race tussling for position in small group and finally manged to break clear on the final lap on the hill. I gave everything to chase down 3rd place but in the end ran out of course and ended up 4th. Personally, I believe this was my best race of the season and was very pleased with my performance and result. I want to thank Ride for Charlie for supporting me with this trip and can’t express enough how grateful I am.”
