I recently went over to Belgium for three Kersteperiode cyclocross races. These were Heusden-Zolder, Diegem and Loenhout. My races were very well attended with the best riders from the world on the start line with me and the atmosphere while I was racing and also after while watching the elite races was incredible. The nostalgia around cyclocross in Belgium during the Christmas period was amazing with the huge amounts of fans turning up for every race. Racing in Belgium is something I would love to experience again next year as a 2nd year junior and hopefully get some good results then too.
