I had an amazing time racing my first ever cyclocross world cup in Tabor, Czech Republic! It was great to be racing abroad in such a big race in GB colours.

I took part in my first World Cup race over in Tabor last weekend, where I finished 9th in the junior race, even with a mechanical and crash!
Thanks to the support from Ride for Charlie I was able to travel out to Holland to compete in the European Cyclocross Championships.
Great experience away in the Netherlands for the European champs. It was my first race as a u23 so was just looking to gain some valuable experience and do my best.
I am now a first-year under 23 and therefore definitely thrown in at the deep end racing at the European Championships but it was awesome to race with the best in Europe and to race on the incredibly fast and technical course
Thank you so much to RideForCharlie for supporting me this weekend at the U23 European championships in the Netherlands. I had a brilliant race, finishing 13th in a really fast, brutal race with very few places to try and recover.
Thank you very much to RideForCharlie for supporting me on my weekend in Sweden at the Stockholm UCI races. It was great to be able to race abroad again, riding against some strong international competition. The course was brilliant with a mix of technical off-camber banks, rutted corners, steep descents,
I went over to switzerland to get a race in before the end of the cross country season. It was a bit of a shock to the system considering I hadn’t raced in ages because of lockdown.
After competing in my first ever elite international cyclocrosss races I couldn’t be happier with my performance, and my progression during my first year as an U23. This opportunity to compete in Bredene and Baal in Belgium wouldn’t of been possible with out the support and funding of rideforcharlie.
Thank you so much for supporting me so that I was able to go over to race in Belgium. It was one of the best experiences, racing against many of the top names in the sport and with thousands of spectators lining the course it was crazy but absolutely incredible.
Charlie was a special boy who went to sleep on Friday the 20 January and didn’t wake up, he was 15. He left his family and friends in a state of shock and an incredible hole in our hearts. We miss him more every day.
Our aim is to support young off road cyclists, who are or would have been inspired by Charlie to follow in his pedal strokes. Our vision is to allocate funding to self motivated young individuals, who will be appraised for eligibility by the trustees.
We want to hear from young boys and girls age 14 and above who ride off- road bikes and have been inspired by stories of Charlie and his life.
