“Recently I travelled to Belgium and The Netherlands to experience some cyclocross racing with the help and support of Ride for Charlie. I arrived in Calais on the Friday evening, ready to drive across to Herenthout in Belgium for a race on Saturday morning. My first race in Herenthout was an awesome course with lots of technical aspects, with some mud but overall nice weather. I loved the course and was really happy to catch up time after a bad start on the first lap. The next day, we drive across to Baarlo in the Netherlands to do a race there as well. The course there was really fun and I really loved it. It had lots of technical corners and climbs and was located through woodland. Overall I had a fantastic time and am really grateful for all the support Ride for Charlie has given me and helped make this trip happen!
