Amy Perryman at Lille X20 and Malgedem Ethias Cros
Last month I was lucky enough to finish my CX season racing out in Belgium at the Lille X20 and Malgedem Ethias Cross.

Nathan at the World champs CX
"I had an amazing time in America racing the cyclocross World champs. It was my first time in the States so it was a really cool experience and then to top it off with a bronze medal made it even more special. My race was fast and dry which made it hard to open gaps. So it came down to a sprint finish for the rainbow jersey! I'm really grateful for the support ride for charlie has provided me, not just for this race, but throughout the whole season. Thank you!"

Ella at the World Championships cyclo cross
I was lucky enough to be selected to ride for GB in the UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Fayetteville, USA. The whole trip was a great experience with it being my first time in the US and the biggest race of the season. The race itself went really well after getting off to a great start and spending the first lap in 2nd place

Christmas in Belgium
"I had an awesome 2 weeks out in Belgium racing the Christmas races. Each race my result got better and I loved racing on 3 very different courses. My favourite race was Zolder, it was fast and furious racing. I have always loved watched Zolder live on the TV so it was incredible to be able to race if for real.

Emily Carrick Anderson in Belgium
I had a great 2 weeks in Belgium racing on some super fun and muddy courses. I had some good races and some bad but I enjoyed them all. It was great to get more experience racing abroad and I definitely learnt lots. It wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Ride for Charlie so I am so grateful.

Corran Carrick-Anderson in Belgium
I travelled to Belgium with my family to race 5 races starting with Namur World Cup and then 4 races between Christmas and New Year’s Day. I had some good races along with some not so good but it was great to race so often on different courses and conditions.

Dan racing abroad
I had an awesome 2 weeks away, doing 5 races in a full on Christmas period. This was my first time racing abroad at Christmas and I loved getting stuck into the high level racing, I had a mix of results but still enjoyed every race. None of this would have been possible without the help from Ride For Charlie so I am very grateful for the support, thank you.

Rory Mcguire in Belgium
Great block of racing out in Belgium over the Christmas period with 6 epic races. I had a few good solid races and a few not my best with a few bike issues but learned things out there and racing different courses in a world class field. It was not easy to get out to Belgium at all but so grateful for ride for Charlie who made this trip possible for me and lots of other British riders.

Europe under 23
“Over the Christmas period I was able to travel to Belgium and compete in a number of top level cyclocross races. The courses were all really fun and tough. I came away with some decent results and had many positives that came from the trip. I’m so grateful for rideforcharlie as without there support this trip would not have been possible.”

Sebastian Grindley at the Koppenberg
"Koppenberg was an amazing experience for me being able to ride and try to show my ability in some Belgian racing. After having been over to Belgium already one time this season to race Meulebeke, I knew what to expect. As always, the racing, courses and atmosphere were all amazing over there and I really enjoyed my time thanks to Ride For Charlie who have helped massively to support my trips abroad this season. In terms of results, I was really happy to come away with 4th at Koppenberg so all in all was a great experience."

Becca’s debut on the Continent
Huge thank you to RideforCharlie for funding my first 2 races on the continent. After a last-minute red light on louenhout, I was lucky enough to get an entry for kerniel. The course was slick which resulted in close racing and I came away with 8th overall elite women. Baal was my second race, a new year, and some new riders to race against from so many international countries. The course was brutal but super fun, I worked my way through the field from 32nd to 15th, so super happy with my performance. I am massively grateful for the funding to encounter new experiences and races.

Oli Akers at the Koppenberg
After these few weeks away I have had some time to reflect on how lucky, and thankful I am for the support I receive, not only from sponsors and my parents, but especially the funding from ride for Charlie that has aided me in getting to many events on the continent, the highlight of which was the Koppenberg.
