Seb does the double

I recently travelled down to Belgium for a double race weekend at Ruddervoorde Superprestige and Maasmechelen. I really enjoyed both courses as they had loads of different features that we don’t have in the UK like the sand bank at Ruddervoorde. I definitely struggled on that so I might have to get some sand practice done before I race abroad again😅. All in all my results progressed through the weekend and it’s nice to see some shape coming through as the season continues.

Fraser makes the trip to Belgium

Thankyou ride for Charlie by giving me the amazing opportunity to go and race in Belgium, where we did 2 races, one on Wednesday at Maldegem and the other race on Sunday was at Ardooie, these 2 courses couldn’t have been more different the first race was on a fast technical course, but Ardooie was one of the most muddy sloppy coarses I’ve raced on, thankyou so much ride for Charlie on this fantastic experience.

Cat visits Belgium

"With the help of Ride For Charlie I recently went over to Belgium to race two elite women’s CX races. Racing up with the elites helped me gain more invaluable experience of racing abroad and was great prepation for the european championships which I competed in the following weekend. This trip wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support that RFC provides. Thank you to Nick and Sarah for all your hard work."

Dec races in Belgium

I really enjoyed the trip because it gave an opportunity to go race in Belgium with a good group of people there to support us and gave lots of new knowledge on racing and how you have to adapt when going abroad to race. Thank you to all that helped and to Ride for Charlie for funding this, it helped us all.

Alice gains experience with Evo Devo

I am so grateful for a fantastic weekend with Evo Devo and the experience it has given me is invaluable. Getting to compete in the elite women’s race really taught me about pushing myself to the limit and it was exciting to get to race with the pros too! Thanks so much to Ride for Charlie for the help, we could’nt have done it without you.

Anna in Belgium

I wanted to go to Belgium myself so this trip has been really useful as i now know what to expect when i go out there, so thank you Evodevo and Ride for Charlie. Being able to practice on Saturday and to walk the course with everyone was really useful. It was a great experience and super fun to race with the best in the world. the course was tough but my favourite part was the more technical bits in the woods.

Oli at the UCI cross clonmel

Last weekend I was lucky enough to travel to Ireland for the UCI race, “cross clonmel” I had a fantastic time, smiling for the entirety of the race! I helped my teammates to climb the podium and got 5th for myself. It is one of my favourite races and this year was no different, I am extremely grateful to Ride for Charlie, as their support helped us to get there!

Joe in Ireland for the UCI cross clonmel

Thank you to ride for charlie for the support to race over in Ireland for the UCI cross clonmel🇮🇪 I wasn’t sure how my race would go having rode the second National Trophy the day before, especially since the race didn’t go to plan. However I was suprised to finish 2nd in the elite race behind the Belgian rider from Alpecin Deceuninck and gained some valuable UCI points. The trip wouldn’t have been possible without RFC, thank you

Harry racing the Bourain junior world series

It was a crazy experience racing the Bourain junior world series, I have never experienced racing against that many people all jostling for postion.

Leo at the UCI gravel world series

Thanks to Ride for Charlie I made the trip to Italy to take part in the final round of the UCI gravel world series. My goal was to try and qualify for the world champs, which I just missed out on, but I'm pleased to have come so close in what was one of the hardest races I've done. It was an amazing experience on terrain which was new to me and I'm really grateful for the opportunity

Challenging race for Zoe

Thank you, Ride for Charlie, for making the trip happen. With a great technical course with lots of technical ups and downs. Unluckily on the first lap I smashed my wheel.

Jacob in Houffalize at the Three Nations Cup

Thank you Ride for Charlie for making the trip to The 3 Nations MTB race in Houffilize possible. It was a technical course which I thoroughly enjoyed . I’ve never been to Belgium before and so this was a great experience.
