“Thank you Ride for Charlie for helping me get away over Christmas to race Loenhout and Baal. Loenhout was a really tough race with no recovery and with a big crash on the start straight, gaps had already appeared and it was really hard to move up. Baal was one of the best courses I’ve every ridden and I really enjoyed it but unfortunately crashed out and couldn’t finish.
Huge thank you to Ride for Charlie and their support over the Christmas period in Belgium cx racing. It was an amazing experience and the atmosphere was unreal, I managed to enter 2 races, Zolder and Kerniel both of which had amazing courses. I managed to get a result of 57th in Zolder after a not so great start and then was really pleased with a 9th place in Kerniel on a course I didn’t think would suit me.
I had a great block of racing out in Belgium, nothing comes close to racing in front of 20,000 CX fans around the dark streets of Diegem and it still remains my favourite course as well as racing experience.
Racing CX in Belgium is always exciting but racing a CX block in Belgium over the Christmas period is very special! Thank you Ride4Charllie for helping me have this fantastic experience it really is like nothing else. I was able to race Heusden Zolder, Diegem, Loenhout and Baal, The courses were really very different with lots of sand, huge banks and drops and of course mud, mud, and more mud.
Thank you RideforCharlie for the experience and the trip over to Belgium. Unfortunately I was unable to get an entry in Zolder and Diegem but I was able to race in the Kerniel CX race coming away with 16th after a few mistakes on my part, but learned a lot. It was amazing experiencing the different chaotic Belgian atmosphere and I can’t wait to go back over again. Huge thanks to RideforCharlie again for the support.
Thank you to Ride for Charlie in helping me get over to Belgium over Christmas. The support is really appreciated. Unfortunately I struggled with illness while I was there, and only raced 2 races, however it was an amazing experience and I’m looking forward to going back next year
Massive thank you to Ride for Charlie for the support in racing in Belgium. I raced Zolder, Loenhout and Baal which were all very different courses and I learnt so much from the experience. For the first two I was racing in the elite women’s race in the biggest field of riders I have ever raced in which was a big learning curve but I really enjoyed it.

Zolder and Diegem went smoothly with no issues. Loenhout was a different story being brought down in a crash on the start leaving me chasing all race.

Huge thank you to RideforCharlie for funding my first 2 races on the continent. After a last-minute red light on louenhout, I was lucky enough to get an entry for kerniel. The course was slick which resulted in close racing and I came away with 8th overall elite women.
